| Dex Color Backs !! |
|
Hex color numbers can now be used at ImageMagick™ to create backs as well as the color names. Just put the six digit number with hash in the meta slot; like this: #996633. Dex color too can now be used to make backgrounds. The dex color is made of three channels; red, green, and blue. In addition, an alpha or transparency may be added. A good range for the transparency is 0.2 up to 1.0. For reference here are some more familiar Hex to Dex combinations.
To use Dex colors at ImageMagick™; let's use gradient. Here's how you write the rgb in the meta slot. rgb(153,102,51)-rgb(102,51,00) NOTE the dash between them and NOTE the commas and brackets. Here's how you write the rgb with transparency. rgba(153,102,51,0.2)-rgba(102,51,00,1.0) NOTE the addition of "a" to the rgb. NOTE the last number shown as a decimal Be sure to output as a jpg or a png or you will lose the transparency. Png provides a most lusterous color. Here's some examples for comparison._____§§ With the addition of the alpha channel your color matches can now be perfect.
