Gradient weaves can give some very interesting effects using nothing more than the Composite operator. All comps were done 0x0 Northwest using the Image Magick on the TandemTables server, 6.3.

Grab yourself an image and one of these weaves and "Away we go !"

TIPS::To size the weavals it is better to crop, to retain the weave size; although I'm sure interesting effects can be achieved by resizing them.
Images that are very dark do not do well, pick something on the lighter side.

  • Put the URL of the Weave in the slot and click View.
